My journey starts as a novice, starting on an indoor slope in Hemel Hempstead to wherever I may end up. My Ski Diary is a commitment to document my progress and record key points on my journey. I am glad you're here and want to read about my story.
Following on from my visit on the 28th January, I had decided to reduce my lift pass to an hour instead of the normal two, based on how busy the slope became after 45 minutes when the lessons starts to join the slope.
This will be first visit to The Snow Centre, Hemel Hempstead for 2026, it has been nearly two months since my last visit. Mainly due to work over christmas being really busy and I needed to take a break as well as when my days off fell over the festive period.
Bad Gastein located in Salzburgerland, Austria. It is approximately one hour and twenty minutes south of Salzburg by car or one hour and thirty minutes by train. The ski area is based around the towns, Bad Gastein, Bad Hofgastein and Dorfgastein. All of which are included in the Ski Amade pass as well as other ski areas near by.
It all began with a simple birthday gift and has come become a passion for skiing and documenting the journey.
