As I didn’t seem to be progressing and not wanting to get stuck in to potentially bad habits. I decided to book a Level 6 group lesson. There was only three of us on it, we were told to go and complete some runs to warm up as our instructor was just finishing an assessment. The other two people on the lesson were at a more advanced stage than me, but that didn’t matter as we were all given individual instructions. My focus is to increase my speed as this will help me balance better using the analogy of riding a bike. I also complete some runs, by lifting up my none downhill ski to prove I am balancing fully on my outside ski. I am advised to working on getting parallel further round in the turn with the aim of narrowing my snowplough to aid my progression.

Reflection: A very useful session, it has helped my confidence and giving something new to focus on moving forward.
